Longtime artist and avoider of drama (unless you ask for it), TheFinalLion is yet another attempt by an artist who has gone by many names to share their art and simply have fun doing it.
In the past I was primarily a "furry" artist, but I am starting to move away from that to focus on fantasy art and practicing skills I am lacking in artistically. You'll still see anthro art - frankly they are more fun to draw than people - but do not expect it to be the bulk of my uploads after the old art dump as I move my gallery here.
I'm also trying my hand at some animal reference photography as we have several notable zoos in my area, so if you are looking for reference pics, make sure to look for that folder in my gallery. If there's something you're looking for animalwise that you can't find, don't hesitate to ask because I most definitely did not upload everything I have.
And last, I do NOT individually thank people for watches, favs, llamas, etc.; please don't think I don't appreciate them, I'd just rather be drawing!

Hello, everybody!
Thanks to all my new watchers! I just wanted to share some important information and some fun links with you.
First off, as you can see I have recently been working on screenshot recolors. I take screenshots from a show (currently My Little Pony), combine them into one image, and repaint them in my own style. I started doing this because I wanted a show-exact painting of Fluttershy's house for my living room, and then decided to expand this to other pony houses and eventually, other scenes and possibly even other shows. I know I have not updated the journal nor this site for quite a bit . . . it's been a very busy semester with three hospitalizations in the family and a slew of other bolts thrown into the gears. But it's now winter break, and hopefully I can get some more work done.
I'm a history major, and though it is nothing I'll be focusing on in the future primarily (I'll hopefully be working in the preservation of archaeological sites against environmental damage) I've taken quite an interest in illuminated manuscripts recently, and am working on a faux one from the brains of my Warcraft character, Borogrove.
